NAUTILUS THE YACHT FOR SAILING UNDER WATER • It was every kid’s dream, it may now come true for few lucky owners. It has the same name as Captain Nemo’s famous submarine, Dutch U Boat Worx is ready to build it. And it “only” costs 25 million dollars!

GIORGIO M. CASSETTA SINCE I WAS A CHILD • We enter Giorgio Casetta’s study on his 39th birthday. He began drawing boats at the nursery. He started off with funnels and portholes, he is now working on gigayachts. After graduating in industrial design in Rome, Gianni Zuccon was his mentor, he started working in his teacher’s studio, and went on working for Andrea Vallicelli before he opened his own studio in 2012. A passionate sailor, he built up his career on engine boats. Benetti was, and still is, his first client; the 30 to 110-metre boats they dealt with proved greatly successful.

Benetti FB 276 Metis • Metis, construction number FB276, is a 63-metre 4-deck custom megayacht penned by Giorgio Cassetta for the exterior, and furnished by English Studio Bannenberg and Rowell. Birgit Otte’s German Studio was in charge of décor. Metis was sold by Kurt Lehman, Yacht Moment, to a German owner.

Custom Line 140 • Custom Line 140 is the new flagship of the Ancona based yard. The new 42.61-metre long and 8,54 wide superyacht first appeared as a Ferretti Private Preview at Munich Yacht Show, and officially debuted at Cannes Yachting Festival. CL 140 was built in cooperation with Ferretti’s engineering direction and strategic committee; she is the third Paszkowsky-penned Custom line for the exterior, Margherita Casprini being in charge for the interior.

Cantiere delle Marche Acala • Summary. Closer and closer to adventure yachts, explorers are also growing in size. Cantiere delle Marcher, unquestioned leader in the field, has now exceeded the 40-metre limit still keeping below the other crucial threshold, 500GRT. The yard unveiled Acala at the latest Yacht Show in Munich, a perfect mixture of power, sophisticated elegance and oceanic range. Truly an oceanic yacht, Acala was designed by Horacio Bozzo and and Mexican architect Simon Hamui. Her naval architecture was penned by Sergio Cutolo/Hydrotech.
